Social Fudge is a social aggregator for viral content from around the web. Through submissions from visitors and browsing and sourcing their own content, they aim to be the number one destination for funny pictures, stories and videos.
The brief was to design branding and a website with universal appeal in order to stand out from the competition which was heavily targeted towards young males.
Efficiency was a key requirement for the website as it needed to be accessible by a number of staff at once, and for posts to be scheduled to allow content to be distributed around the clock. This content needed to then be automatically posted to both Facebook and Twitter, with multiple templates autodetected by the website to ensure posts were displayed in the correct format across the social networks.
